Our client wanted a contemporary living space in an agricultural style dwelling, which suited the countryside context. We began by gaining a successful approval to convert an agricultural barn on the site into a dwelling, using the Permitted Development ‘Class Q’ rules. Then full planning approval was applied for and granted. We then provided the technical information for this low-energy contemporary dwelling in the countryside.
