After 28 years based in the heart of historic Wells, we’ve packed up the drawing boards, models, and many, many rolls of tracing paper - and moved to a new office. You’ll now find the Salmon team at Bishopbrook House, just five minutes from the centre of Wells, in a contemporary, light-filled space that already feels like home.
A Space That Brings Everyone Together

For the first time, our ever-growing team is housed on one floor. Planning and architecture now sit side by side - ideas flowing more freely, collaboration happening more naturally, and the energy of the studio buzzing from morning to evening. It’s a space designed for creativity, and we’re already feeling the difference.
Come for a ‘Counter Coffee’

One of the things we’re most excited about is our new counter — a relaxed spot where clients can drop in for a coffee and an informal chat. Whether you’re exploring a potential project, have a planning query, or simply want to bounce around ideas, we’d love to welcome you. Just book a time and come say hello.
Room to Think, Meet, and Create

Alongside the open studio, the new office includes dedicated meeting rooms for larger or more formal discussions, plus breakout areas where the team can gather, sketch, and problem-solve together. While we fully support flexible working, there’s something special about being in a shared creative space - and our team genuinely loves coming in.
Growing Across the South West

Our Southernhay office in Exeter - just steps from the cathedral - continues to thrive too. Together, our Wells and Exeter studios are seeing strong growth, with planning-led architecture proving increasingly popular among clients across the South West.
This move marks an exciting new chapter for Salmon Planning + Architecture. New space, new energy, same commitment to thoughtful, collaborative, planning-driven design.
