The owner of this site in Street lives in the attractive victorian red-brick villa, in the garden of which we applied for a new modern 5 bedroom home. The design reponds to the existing architecture and to the several beautiful trees surrounding the building. A deep first floor overhang provides shadowing and relief across the buiding's facade and forms a covered entrance. The application was approved in principle but is held up by a local issue with phosphates.
