Salmon 2025 Successes and Merry Christmas!

At Salmon Planning + Architecture, we continue to strengthen our position as trusted professionals in the fields of planning and architecture.

The addition of Matt Green and his team is already proving to be a real success. Our enhanced architectural offering is providing clients with a seamless planning and design service, from initial concept through to construction and final building regulations sign-off. Clients are finding this integrated approach particularly valuable for effective project management and budgeting.

Looking ahead, we have an exciting pipeline of new projects for the coming year, including new-build private dwellings alongside a wide range of home remodelling schemes. In addition, a number of housing developments are progressing that began as initial strategic planning reviews of sites and are now moving forward with confidence. We are also pleased to be working on a range of exciting commercial projects, supporting the growth and expansion of local businesses across the region.

On the planning side, we continue to receive very positive feedback regarding the quality of submissions prepared by our highly valued team of planning consultants and architects. We submitted 138 planning applications in 2025. We are proud to be achieving a planning appeal success rate of over 80% (nearly 3 times better than the national success rate) which reflects the depth of our experience and knowledge.

While we are embracing the opportunities that AI can offer, we remain firmly committed to being a people-focused practice that values clear communication and strong client relationships.

Above all, we have greatly enjoyed working with our valued clients throughout 2025. In 2026, we look forward to moving to new premises in Wells, which together with our offices in central Exeter will provide improved meeting facilities and an even more welcoming environment for our clients.
